Nobsa


Nobsa is a Colombian municipality of Boyaca, located in central-eastern Colombia, in the Upper Chicamocha. Account, according to 2005 census data, with a population of 14,946 inhabitants. Nobsa is part of the province of Sugamuxi.




On the economic front, stands as an important craft center of Boyaca, mainly for its outstanding work in wool. It also highlights the industrial activity, for the cement sector and mining operations in this county.



Founded in 1593 and declared a municipality in 1811, bounded on the north by the municipalities of Santa Rosa de Viterbo and Forest, east with Corrales and Tópaga, west to Tibasosa and Santa Rosa de Viterbo and south and Tibasosa Sogamoso.





Wool work:
